Teaching

Strategic Management Core Courses, Strategy Analytics, Strategy, AI, and Digital Transformation

Teaching is central to my academic work. I approach it as a process through which students develop analytical thinking, navigate complexity, and connect theoretical concepts to organizational and societal challenges.

Teaching Philosophy

My teaching is informed by my research on technological transitions, innovation ecosystems, and interorganizational dynamics. I emphasize conceptual clarity, structured problem-solving, and systems thinking, with the aim of equipping students to understand strategic decision-making under conditions of uncertainty.

Teaching Experience

I have experience teaching, developing, and coordinating courses at bachelor's, master's, and executive levels at the University of Amsterdam and Tilburg University.

  • Bachelor's level: Strategy and Change
  • Master's level: Strategy Analytics, The Adaptive Organization
  • Executive education: Strategy and AI, Strategy and Organization, Theories of AI and Strategy and Business Innovation

These courses focus on strategic analysis, organizational adaptation, and the implications of technological change.

Supervision

I have supervised over 80 master's theses and 20 bachelor's theses. My supervision emphasizes theory-driven research design, methodological rigor, and intellectual independence.

This approach has contributed to strong student outcomes, including a Best MSc Thesis Award at Tilburg University in 2024 and conference presentations based on supervised work.
